Millard Edward Fuzz Wratchford, age 85 of N. Main St, Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday evening, September 24, 2015 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born November 11, 1929 in Hardy Co., WV, he was the son of the late James Edward Wratchford and Marie (Hose) Wratchford. He was a retired truck driver having driven for 50+ years for Mullenax Refrigerated Trucking, Smith Transfer, & Wilkins Trucking to name a few. He was a member of the Moorefield Church of the Brethren, a member of the Moorefield Lodge #29 A.F. & A.M. He was a US Army Combat Wounded Veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Denny-Moyers-Prat Post #9606 V.F.W; a member of the John M. Golliday Post #64 American Legion and a member of the 40 & 8 Hardy County Voiture #1623. A brother and sister preceded him in death. On October 28, 1950 he married Nina Grace Hedrick in Cumberland, MD who survives him, in addition to a daughter Elizabeth Wratchford Boothe (husband Bill) of Moorefield, WV; a sister, Genevieve Milliman of Moorefield, WV as well as some very close friends. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, September 27, 2015 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St, with Pastors Russell & Lucy Webster officiating. Interment will follow with Military Graveside rites accorded by the U.S. Army and Masonic Graveside Rites accorded by the Moorefield Lodge #29 A.F. & A.M at the Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 PM Saturday and the family will receive friends from 4 -7 PM at the funeral home.
