Mildred Maxine Marshall

Mildred Maxine Marshall, age 90 of Moorefield, WV; wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed from this life on December 27, 2009 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born September 29, 1919 in Hardy Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late Ulysses Grant Wolfe and Myrtle Jane (Rohrbaugh) Wolfe. Her husband, John H. Marshall, II preceded her in death in 1972. Her sisters; Estie Wolfe, Margaret Wolfe and Elsie Wolfe Crites all of Hardy County, WV and Leona Wolfe Hess of Tampa, FL preceded her in death. Her brothers; Chester Wolfe Sr., Leonard Wolfe, Irvin Wolfe and Alfred Wolfe all of Moorefield also preceded her in death. She was a long time member of the Old Fields Baptist Church and had been employed by Rockingham Poultry Cooperative then Boise Cascade Corporation. Surviving is a daughter, Jane Marshall Loften of Moorefield, WV; three sons, Gary Wolfe Sr. of Dorcas, WV, John H. Marshall, III of Spotsylvania, VA and Dixon Marshall, Sr. of Moorefield, WV; grandchildren, Gary Wolfe, Jr. of Dorcas, WV, Susan Loften Bosley of Old Fields, WV, Charles Marshall, II of Moorefield, WV, Connie Wolfe Orndorff of Dorcas, WV, Traci Marshall Backus of Knoxville, TN, John H. Marshall, IV of Richmond, VA, Candy Loften Lambert of Arthur, WV, Aaron Marshall of Spotsylvania, VA, Cindy Loften of Old Fields, WV and Douglas ?Buddy? Loften of Moorefield, WV; Step-grandchildren, Jesse Phillips, Jr. of Moorefield, WV, Jonathon Phillips of Moorefield, WV and Josh O?Neil of Moorefield, WV. Mrs. Marshall?s great-grandchildren has descended out to five generations at the time of her death. Funeral Services will be conducted 6:00 PM Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St, with the Rev. Glenden Berg officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until time of services at 6:00 PM.
