Melvin "Bud" Leo Eye

Melvin Leo Bud Eye, age 81 of South Fork Road, Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday evening, November 12, 2016 at the Grant Rehabilitation & Care Center in Petersburg, WV. He was born on April 18, 1935 in Kessel, WV a son of the late Edwin Seymour Eye and Edith Fannie (Hardy) Eye. Three brothers, Jesse, Orville & Roscoe and a sister, Louise Eye, preceded him in death. A man who cared for his dogs, he was an excellent small engine mechanic who enjoyed working on lawn mowers and occasionally tinkered with his larger, Ford. Surviving is a son, Melvin Tucker & Terri Eye of Petersburg, WV; two daughters, Michelle & Eugene Parker and Cathy & Charles Reed of Moorefield, WV; nine grandchildren, Benjamin Parker, Matthew Sites, Breanna Fansler, Tanner Eye, Channing Eye, Kyle Stump, Zachary Eye, Emily Reed & Shawn Reed and three great-grandchildren, Liam, Brantley & Ella; along with a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Jimmy Stump, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Crites-Eye Cemetery in the Critestown area of Rig. The family will receive friends from 4 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
