Maude Zirk

Maude F. ?Nip? Zirk, age 85 of Washington St., Moorefield, WV passed away Monday morning September 2, 2002 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born February 6, 1917 in Hardy Co., WV she was a daughter of the late Charles H., Sr. & Lottie (Blanton) Friddle. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilson "Corney" Zirk in April 1993; she was also preceded in death by 1 Sister & 2 Brothers. She was a member of the Moorefield Chapter Order of the Eastern Star #102 for over 50 years and a member of the Moorefield Presbyterian Church. She is survived by Sons, Joseph Zirk and wife Snow of Moorefield, WV & Wyatt ?Boo? Zirk and wife Barbara of Wardensville, WV; daughter, Cecelia "Tee" Reed and husband ?Turk? of Moorefield, WV; 3 Grandchildren, B.J. Zirk, Tyson Zirk & Carla Delacruz & 3 Great-grandchildren, William Lewis, Oralia Delacruz & Macie Paris Zirk. Funeral Services were conducted Thursday, September 5, 2002 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with the Rev. Bruce Macbeth officiating. Interment followed in the Olivet Cemetery.
