Mary Susan Bean

Mary Susan Bean, age 80, of Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday evening, January 24, 2004, at her residence. Born March 14, 1923 in Moorefield, she was a daughter of the late Marcellus M. & Ethel (Roby) Bean. She was a member of the Duffey Memorial United Methodist Church and a member of the V.F.W. & American Legion Auxiliaries. She retired as an assistant from the Hardy County Committee on Aging in 1995. Surviving are nieces, Polly B. Long of Moorefield, WV; Carla B. Richards of Orange, VA, Ann B. Thorpe of Orlando, FL and Libby B. Mitchell of Roanoke, VA; nephews, Tom Bean of Columbus, OH and Greg Bean of Midlothian, VA; a very special friend, Jim Hyre and her devoted dog, Nicholas. Funeral Services were conducted Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with the Rev. Raymond Helmick officiating. Interment followed at the Olivet Cemetery.
