Mary Virginia Stump

Mary Virginia Stump, age 87 of Jenkins Run Rd., Moorefield, WV, passed away Sunday morning, October 14, 2007 at the Grant County Nursing Home in Petersburg, WV. Born February 15, 1920 in Hardy Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late Edgar B. & Blossie C. (Wolfe) Southerly. She was a member of the Charity Baptist Church. Her husband, Hiram Glenn Stump preceded her in death in October 1960. A son, a daughter, two grandsons, two great-granddaughters, a great-grandson, three brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death. Surviving are three sons, Jimmy Stump, Sr., Johnny Stump & Randall Stump all of Moorefield, WV; three daughters, Margy Wratchford & Frances Riggleman of Moorefield, WV and Peggy Stump of Keyser, WV; a brother, Wayne Southerly of Old Fields, WV; three sisters, Nancy Hambleton of Moorefield, WV and Betty Southerly & Roberta Porter of Petersburg, WV; thirty-one grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Charity Baptist Church, Jackson Avenue, Moorefield, WV with Pastor Jimmy Stumps, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Jenkins Cemetery, Moorefield, WV. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Tuesday at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield.
