Mary Kesner Shoemaker

Mary K. Shoemaker, age 76 of Lee Street, Moorefield, WV, passed away Friday evening, October 8, 2010 at her residence. Born September 8, 1934 at Deer Run, Pendleton County, WV, she was the daughter of the late William E. & Eunice (Siever) Kesner. Her husband, Caudy J. Shoemaker preceded her in death in April 2003. She was a member of the Old Fields Baptist Church and had retired from American Woodmark Corporation in January 2000. Surviving are two sons, Ralph Vance, II (wife Cornelia) of Maysville, WV and Philip Vance (wife Barbara) of Scherr, WV; a daughter, Yvonne Black (husband Eugene) of Petersburg, WV; a sister, Beverly Plauger (husband Royce) of Dorcas, WV; two brothers, Harlan Kesner (wife Rosalee) of Dorcas, WV and Larry Kesner of Petersburg, WV; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the Old Fields Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Howard officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 PM Tuesday at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St. Mrs. Shoemaker will be taken to the church 1 hour prior to services.
