Mary Catherine Riggleman

Mary Catherine Riggleman, age 84 of Lawton, OK, formerly of Palm Harbor, FL and Fisher, WV was born to Sally Virginia (Kuykendall) and Charles Edward Bobo, Sr. on February 25, 1932 at Fisher, WV and departed this life in Lawton, OK on May 7, 2016 at the age of 84 years, 2 months and 12 days. Born and raised in Fisher, WV, Mary graduated from Moorefield High School in 1950. She then attended and graduated from beauty school in Maryland. Following beauty school, she worked in Washington, DC and then in Petersburg, WV before opening her own shop, Catherines Beauty Shop in Moorefield, WV. She married John Seymour Riggleman of Fisher, WV in September 1952 in Cumberland, MD. They made their home at Fisher in the Moorefield area for many years. After he passed in 1993, she moved to Palm Harbor, FL, to be close to her youngest daughter, Jeannette and family. In 2010 she moved to Lawton, Oklahoma to live with her oldest daughter Cindi and her family. She was a member of the Oak Grove Methodist Church in Fisher, WV. She loved to spend her free time crocheting and making Afghans for friends and family. She participated in many craft shows selling her homemade Christmas ornaments and decorations. She was an avid supporter of the Knights of South Branch Valley Jousting Club where her husband, John was a Knight for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Seymour Riggleman; a sister, Jean Frances Sherman; and a brother, Charles E. Buss Bobo, Jr. Survivors include 2 daughters and their families: Daughter-Cindi Kesner and Raymond, Lawton, OK; grandchildren, Jared Kesner, Jessica Daniels and Jess, Kelly and Spencer Weiss; great grandchildren, Dallyn, Abby, Kennady, Sawyer, Wyatt, and Baby Weiss due in June. Daughter-Jeannette Squitiro and Steve, Palm Harbor, FL; grandchildren, Luke and Lizeth Squitiro, Vinnie and Natalie Squitiro, Lindsey, Cory and Nick Squitiro; and great grandchildren, Alejandra, Marcella and Daniella Squitiro. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Jeff Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at the Newhouse Cemetery near Moorefield. The family will receive friends from 4 8 PM Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the funeral home.
