Mary Lucille Redman

Mary Lucille Redman, age 90 of Funnel Street, Moorefield, WV, passed away Tuesday evening, May 1, 2018 at the Grant Rehabilitation & Care Center in Petersburg, WV. Born on September 3, 1927 in Moorefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Conway Tross and Sallie Virginia Duffy Tross. Her husband, James Raymond Redman preceded her in death in July 2005. An infant daughter, Shirley Louise, two sisters and eight brothers and a special nephew, Clarence Sonny Tross, also preceded her in death. Lucille was a faithful Christian always reading her Bible and a member of the First Church of God in Christ. She enjoyed word searches, collecting recipes that on occasion she would use for baking and cooking for the family. Her grandchildren were everything to her. Surviving are three sons, Raymond Redman, Michael Redman & George Redman all of Moorefield, WV; three daughters, Deanna Ford & Judy Redman of Moorefield, WV and Wendy Garth of Bellevue, NE; a sister, Emma Sue Mitchell of Moorefield, WV; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 6, 2018 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Henderson Wheeler, Jr., Bishop Henderson Wheeler, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Redmon Family Cemetery, Hutter Road, Fisher, WV. The family will receive friends from 5 -7 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
