Mary Catherine Raines

Mary Catherine ?Kate? Raines, age 95 of Trough Road, Moorefield, WV passed away Saturday evening, September 27, 2008, at the Grant County Nursing Home in Petersburg, WV. Born March 8, 1913 in Hardy Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late Samuel L. & Mary (Buckley) Clower. Her husband Ocie L. Raines preceded her in death in March 1991. A son, two daughters, a grandson, three sisters and three brothers also preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons; Randall Raines of Old Fields, WV & Sammy Raines of Venice, FL, a daughter, Sandra Bouma of Salisbury, MD, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Fraley Funeral Chapel, 107 Washington St, Moorefield, WV, with Pastor Jimmy Stump, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 PM Tuesday at the Fraley Funeral Chapel.
