Marvin Junior Sherman

Marvin Junior Sherman, age 72 of Myriah Drive, Martinsburg, WV and formerly of Fisher, WV, passed away Sunday morning, February 1, 2004 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born September 4, 1931 in Hardy County, WV he was a son of the late Marvin B. & Beulah (Rexrode) Sherman. He was a member of the Pikeside United Methodist Church and was a US Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a life member of the Veteran?s of Foreign WarsPost #896. A son and a daughter preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife, Gladys (Miller) Sherman; two sons, Steven Sherman and Timothy Sherman of Martinsburg, WV; a daughter, Teresa Sherman of Martinsburg, WV; a brother, John W. Sherman of Maysville, WV; a stepbrother, Charles Sherman of Maysville, WV; two sisters, Eleanor Shirk of Moorefield, WV and Bonnie L. Smith of Winchester, VA and three grandchildren. Funeral Services were conducted Wednesday, February 4, 2004, at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Dr. Ken Smith officiating. Interment followed at the Newhouse Cemetery at Rig, WV.
