Margaret Atilee See

Margaret Atilee Funk See, age 93 of Mt. View Road, Purgitsville, WV, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 26, 2016 at the Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg, WV. Born October 19, 1922 in Hardy Co., WV, she was a daughter of the late James Upsure Dean and Lettie Jane Combs Dean. Her husband, Alister See preceded her in death in July 2014. A granddaughter, a great-granddaughter, a sister and four brothers also preceded her in death. Margaret had a fuzzy companion Prissy that she loved dearly as well as her family and grandchildren whom she enjoyed cooking for when they visited. Her spare time she watched TV game shows and her favorite Atlanta Braves. Surviving are three sons, Roger(Bessie) Dean of Old Fields, WV, Larry O.(Frances) Funk of Purgitsville, WV and Robert Jack (Mary) Funk of Purgitsville, WV; two daughters, Norma Jean Funk of Petersburg, WV and Donna C. (Bob) Pittington of Moorefield, WV; fourteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and nine great-great- grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastors Wade Armentrout & Shannon Earle officiating. Interment will follow at the Lahmansville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
