Lou Anna Harman

Lou Anna Bragg Gilbert Harman, age 72 of Chipley Lane, Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday evening, July 11, 2019 at her residence. Born on January 30, 1947 in Fairmont, WV, she was a daughter of Pauline Elizabeth Webster Tusing of Baker, WV and the late Donald George Bragg. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Harman and also by her step-father, Kenneth V. Tusing. She was a member of the Bean Settlement Church of the Brethren, enjoyed gardening or just growing anything but more than anything enjoyed being with her family.

Surviving are three sons; Jim and Paulyn Gilbert of Moorefield, WV, Robert and Shawn Gilbert of Baker, WV and Wesley and Sheryl Gilbert of New Bern, NC; three brothers, Larry & Sally Tusing of Manassas, VA, Danny Bragg of McEwen, TN and Keith Bragg of McEwen, TN; two sisters, Linda & B.J. Ambrose of Delray, WV and Lisa Robbins of Springfield, VA; nine grandchildren, Cory & Jessica Gilbert, James & Annalissa Gilbert, Lauren Gilbert, Talon Gilbert, Arianna Gilbert, McKenzie Statler, Brooklyn Gilbert, Dustin Gilbert and Meagan Gilbert and several great-great-grandchildren.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Moorefield Church of the Brethren, Clay & Jefferson Streets, Moorefield, WV with Pastors Russell & Lucy Webster as celebrants. Lou Ann has given the ultimate gift of her remains to the Human Gift Registry of WV School of Medicine.
