Lonnie Eugene Riggleman

Lonnie Eugene Riggleman, age 73 of Purgitsville, WV, passed away Sunday morning, August 30, 2020 at his residence with his family at his side. Born on January 29, 1947 in Purgitsville, WV, he was a son of the late Alonzo Franklin “Jake” Riggleman and Edna Jean Pratt Riggleman. His wife, Rose Marie Jubelt Riggleman preceded him in death in January 2002. Brothers, “Dick” Riggleman and Terry Riggleman, and a sister, Barbara Wilson also preceded him in death. Lonnie was a US Army veteran who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars.

Surviving is a son, Lonnie F. Riggleman of Purgitsville, WV; two daughters, Michelle Hines of Mt. Storm, WV and Barbara LaFrance of Purgitsville, WV; a brother, William “Bud” Riggleman of Inwood, WV; a sister, Wilda Rinker of Purgitsville, WV; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ken Smith officiant. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until time of services. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, wearing of masks and social distancing will be required at the funeral home at all times.
