Lola Kathryn Riggleman Barr Kimble Oyhus, age 100 of Moorefield, WV went home to be with the Lord on May 28, 2016 at the Grant Rehabilitation & Care Center in Petersburg, WV. Born May 4, 1916 in Rig, WV, she was the daughter of Mort G. Riggleman and Lena M. (Crites) Riggleman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Harold G. Barr, her 2nd husband, O.S. Kimble, her 3rd husband Frederick A. Oyhus, her brother, Elvin C. Riggleman, a sister, Sarah J. Hartman and an infant son. Lola was a graduate of the WV College of Beauty Culture in Martinsburg, WV in 1969. When she retired as a beautician, she volunteered her services at the Grant Memorial Hospital and Grant County Nursing Home in their beauty shops. Lola was a member of the Grant Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, a member of the Petersburg Garden Club, a member of the CEO Clubs of Petersburg & Moorefield, and a member of the Home Demonstration Club of Rig. She was a former member of the Rig Presbyterian Church, and the Petersburg Presbyterian Church, where she served as an Elder and Deacon. Most recently she was a member of the Moorefield Presbyterian Church where she also served as a Deacon. Lola was a 65+ year member and a Past Worthy Matron of the Moorefield Chapter #102 Order of the Eastern Star. She was selected to serve as a Grand Representative to Arkansas. Lola was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was dedicated to her faith in God, and her many acts of kindness demonstrated her willingness to care for others. She is survived by her three children, Shelvy Barr Hartman (husband Richard) of Moorefield, WV, Gail Barr Sherman (husband Robert) of Charles Town, WV and Dwane Barr (wife Annabelle) of Moorefield, WV; grandchildren, Pam Hartman Phillips (Dale), Cyndy Hartman Gibbons (Ron), Richard Hartman, Stacey Barr Ferguson (Miguel), Derek Barr (Kirsten), Travis Sherman (Thersa) and Andrew Sherman (Karen); great-grandchildren, Patrick Wilson, Hayley Borasky, Allison Barr, Elliott Barr, Jenna Sherman and Jacob Sherman; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Moorefield Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Harold Tongen officiating. At her request, her remains have been donated to the WV Human Gift Registry of West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV.
