Lois Dare Liller, age 70 of Tannery Hollow Road, Moorefield, WV, passed away Friday morning, April 3, 2015 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. She was born May 31, 1944 in Moorefield, WV, a daughter of the late Guy Lakin Funkhouser and Elizabeth (Gochenour) Funkhouser. Her husband of 51 years, Harlan E. Liller, preceded her in death in March 2014. Two brothers also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Bakers Chapel United Methodist Church and had been attending Sperrys Run United Methodist Church. Lois had a passion for painting, sewing and quilting and spent many hours on their delicate outcome. She was a past participant in the now C.E.O.S., led a Bible Study for many years and helped nurture many children by her dedication to assisting those in 4-H. Also, she enjoyed camping with family, as they were everything to her. Her dedication, kindness and smile will never be forgotten. Surviving is a daughter, Glenda (husband Keith) Smith of Baker, WV; a son, Brent (wife DiAnna) Liller of Old Fields, WV; two sisters, Fern Ludwick of Moorefield, WV and Alverta See of Baker, WV; eight grandchildren; two brother-in-laws, a sister-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 8, 2015 with Pastors Russell & Lucy Webster and Pastor Loretta Brinker officiating at the Olivet Cemetery, Moorefield, WV. Grandchildren and nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5 8 PM Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street.
