Leonard Lee Ruckman

Leonard Lee “Leroy” Ruckman, age 59 of Arlington Manor Drive, Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday morning, April 18, 2020, in Mt. Crawford, VA. Born on October 21, 1960, in Harrisonburg, VA, he was a son of the late Robert Lee Ruckman and Katherine Grace Runions Ruckman. Two sisters, Sylvia Riggleman and Nancy Lou Hines and a grandson, Preston Kesner also preceded him in death. Leroy was a truck driver for the largest part of his life and had been employed by M & M Transportation for the last six years.

Surviving is his wife, Vadis Louise Lawrence Ruckman; a son, Joe Kesner of Moorefield, WV; two step-sons, Jeff Lawrence of Groveton, PA and Michael Winnington of Winchester, VA; four brothers, Joseph Parker & James Parker of Baker, WV and Ronnie Parker & Jimmy Parsons of Moorefield, WV; four sisters, Sondra Dawson of Stephens City, VA, Susie Combs of Bunker Hill, WV, Effie Miller of Moorefield, WV and Rhonda French of Baker, WV; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
