Lawrence Leon Putzulu

Lawrence Leon Putzulu, age 52 of Elkton, MD and of his mountain home near Milam, WV, passed away Friday morning, June 10, 2016 at his cabin in his beloved mountains. Born April 1, 1964 in Buckhannon, WV, he was the son of the late Joseph Francis Putzulu, Sr. and Louella Maxine (Cobb) Putzulu. An outdoorsman who coveted the mountains of West Virginia was known to reveal the exact elevation per mountain range. He loved the idea that he introduced his finance' Allyn Hassler of Elkton Md. to the great WV outdoors which they truly enjoyed together. He was very close to his family. His brother, Tony Putzulu also preceded him in death. Surviving is his finance' Allyn Hassler; two sisters, Cynthia Hinkle of Moorefield, WV and Mary Elizabeth Frey of Valparaiso, IN; a brother, Joseph F. Putzulu, Jr. of Ft Myers, FL and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Buckhannon, WV on Friday, June 17th @ 10:00 AM with burial at a later date.
