Kenneth O. Snyder

Kenneth Otha Snyder, age 68 of Fisher, WV went to be with his Lord on Monday, October 7, 2002 at the residence of his daughter near Moorefield. Born August 4, 1934 in Petersburg, WV he was a son of the late Clyde P. & Ona D. (Smith) Snyder. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Temple of Rig, WV and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Brunswick, MD. He was a veteran of the US Army of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by 1 Son, 1 Brother and 2 Sisters. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Tinsman) Snyder; a son, Paul J. Snyder and wife Lisa of Kessel, WV; daughters, Lallia Shortt and husband Keith of Purcellville, VA and Paula Miller and husband ?Boo? of Moorefield, WV; step-daughters, Gloria Rouden of Rippon, WV; Hilda Cooper of Lovettsville, VA and Nancy Cochran of Leesburg, VA; brothers, Clyde W. Snyder, Charles C. Snyder, Michael D. Snyder and Nevin T. Snyder all of Fisher, WV; Larry P. Snyder and Jerry E. Snyder of Moorefield, WV; sister, Ruby E. Mason of Fisher, WV; and grandchildren; Josh Shortt, Jessica Shortt, Cody Miller, Kristen Fisher, Corey Snyder, Brittany Snyder, Meghan Cooper & Danielle Cooper. Funeral Services were conducted Friday, October 11, 2002 at the Calvary Baptist Temple at Rig, WV with the Rev?s. Charles Snyder & Mike Snyder & Dr. Ken Smith officiating. Interment followed with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the Moorefield Veterans Honor Guard at the Kessel Cemetery at Kessel, WV.
