Kenneth Samuel Engle

Kenneth Samuel Engle, age 89 of J.C. Markwood Rd, Old Fields, WV, passed away Sunday evening, July 1, 2007 at the Pendleton County Nursing Home in Franklin, WV. Born April 29, 1918 in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Samuel & Leona (Morrison) Engle. He was a member of the Moorefield Brethren Church, a US Navy veteran of WWII and a 32nd Degree Mason at the Moorefield Lodge # 29 A.F. & A.M. Kenny worked at the Celanese plant in Cumberland, MD for over 16 years, worked at Fairchild Aircraft in Hagerstown, MD for a number of years and retired from United Technologies in W. Palm Beach, FL after 22 years. Surviving is his wife, Ruth (Whetzel) Engle, two step-sons, Mervin G. Rohrbaugh of Dorcas, WV & W. W. Rohrbaugh of Sandusky, OH; a step-daughter, Carolyn Dunn of Fisher, WV and numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Otis ?Buzz? Weatherholt & Rev. Joseph Eversole officiating. Interment will follow with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the Moorefield Veteran?s Honor Guard and Masonic Graveside Rites accorded by the Moorefield Lodge # 29 A.F. & AM. at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Tuesday at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield.
