June Dolan Fisher

June Dolan Fisher, age 91 of South Main Street, Moorefield, WV, passed away Monday evening, November 7, 2011 at Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village in Boonsboro, MD. Born June 1, 1920 in Moorefield, she was the daughter of the late J. Harry & Helen M. (Sions) Dolan. Her husband, C.H. ?Hink? Fisher preceded her in death in February 1991. Two sisters also preceded her in death. June taught school in a one room schoolhouse in Hardy County before owning and operating Fisher?s Market for many years in Moorefield. June was an avid fan and supporter of Moorefield High School and WVU sports programs. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Brown of Fayetteville, PA and Cherie Boswell of Martinsburg, WV; three grandchildren, Tyler Boswell, Stephanie Titzel and Emily Long; and three great-grandchildren, Isabella, Jordan and Andrew. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the Moorefield Presbyterian Church with Pastor Katherine C. Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery.
