Judy Joanne Lyon

Judy Joanne Lyon, age 71 of Rolling Acres, Old Fields, WV, passed away Tuesday evening, May 24, 2016 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center in Cumberland, MD. Born March 21, 1945 in Old Fields, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ervin William Kelley and Elsie Maude Bosley Kelley. She was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Eugene Kelley and two sisters, Myriene Rohrbaugh and Yvonne Rotruck. She enjoyed gardening especially house plants, and prior to her retirement she was passionate about the folks she cared for with her job with the state. Surviving is her husband, Douglas M. Lyon, a son, Dennis & Sumalee Lyon of O'Fallon, IL; two grandchildren, Natalie & Patrick; three sisters, Audrey Riggleman of Petersburg, VA, Donna Barbe of Purgitsville, WV and Shirley Wiencek of Kill Devil Hills, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 3:00 PM Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street, with Pastor Ted Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at the Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV. The family will receive friends from 1 3 PM Sunday prior to services.
