Juanita Pearl Coppe, age 94 of Washington, DC passed away Tuesday evening, January 13, 2015 at the Washington Home and Hospice in Washington, DC. Born March 7, 1920 in Hardy Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late John Robert Coppe and Edith Stickley Coppe Brown. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rae C. Grafton and a brother, H. Dalton Coppe. Juanita graduated from Keyser High School and worked as a beautician for many years including numerous years at the U.S. Capitol Beauty Salon. She was a most loving and caring person, who cared deeply for her family. Surviving is a brother, Max A. Brown and wife Norma of Bluffton, SC; two sisters-in-law, Norma Brown and Helen Coppe of Moorefield, WV; three nephews, James C. Grafton and wife Betty Jean of Richmond, VA, Robert Grafton and wife Pat of Potomac, MD and H.D. Coppe and wife Beverly of Moorefield, WV and a niece, Lucy Coppe of Moorefield, WV. Services will be held at a later date at the Elijah High Cemetery, Junction, WV.
