John Thomas St. Clair

John Thomas St.Clair, age 96 of Memphis, TN, died Sunday June 102007 at Millington Health Care. Born October 24, 1910 in Gladesville, WV he was the son of the late Harry A. & Cora V. (Morris) St. Clair. His wife Lucy Lee Kuykendall St. Clair preceded him in death. John was a retired Assistant State Superintendent for the WV School System. He was a graduate of WV University, a member of the Emeritus Club, a 32nd Degree Mason, a 50 year Mason and a member of the American Association of School Administrators. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder since 1947. Surviving is a son, John Thomas St.Clair, Jr., M.D. of Jonesboro, AR; a daughter, Jane Ellen McGoldrick of Bartlett, TN; three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Inurnment graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 3, 2007 at the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield with Pastor Katherine Jackson officiating.
