John Charles Krueger

John Charles ?Jack? Krueger, age 93 of N. Main St., Moorefield, WV, passed away Wednesday morning, February 16, 2005 at his residence. Born June 24, 1911 in Buffalo, NY he was the son of the late Charles & Helen (O?Hara) Krueger. He was a member of the Epiphany Catholic Church of Moorefield where he served as an usher for 15 years. He was a retired Master Sergeant from the US Army, Signal Corps having served over 26 years beginning in 1929. He was a member of AARP and was active in the Lions Club after which he became an honorary member. Surviving is his wife, Florence (Dodd) Krueger, a son, Michael Krueger of St. Simons Island, GA; a daughter, Margaret White of Huntsville, AL; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. His first wife Grace (Kelly) Krueger preceded him in death. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 19, 2005, at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Father Mario Claro and Pastor Katherine C. Jackson officiating. Interment will be held with Full Military Honors accorded by the US Army at the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA, at 9:00 AM Friday, February 25, 2005. The family will receive friends from 7 ? 9 PM Friday at the Fraley Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the charity of donor?s choice.
