Jerry Elmo Snyder

Jerry Elmo Snyder, age 65 of Paskell Hill Drive, Moorefield, WV, passed away Monday May 7, 2007 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born February 7, 1942 in Petersburg, WV he was the son of the late Clyde P. & Ona D. (Smith) Snyder. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, was a member of the Denney-Moyers-Pratt Post #9606 V.F.W; a member of the John M. Golliday Post #64 American Legion; the 40 & 8 Voiture #1623; and a member of the Moorefield Veterans Honor Guard. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise (Keplinger) Snyder, two brothers and two sisters. Surviving is his wife; Armeda (Wolfe) Nosal-Snyder; a son, Robert S. Snyder of Manassas, VA; a step-son, Mark and wife Meghan Nosal of Silver Spring, MD; five brothers, Clyde W. Snyder of Moorefield, WV; Charles C. Snyder, Michael D. Snyder & Nevin T. Snyder of Fisher, WV & Larry P. Snyder of Old Fields, WV; a sister, Ruby E. Mason of Fisher, WV and four wonderful grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, May 10, 2007 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with the Rev?s. Michael D. & Charles C. Snyder officiating. Interment will follow with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the US Army & the Moorefield Veteran?s Honor Guard at the Kessel Cemetery, Kessel, WV. The family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 PM Wednesday at the Fraley Funeral Home.
