Jerry Ronnie Pannell

Jerry Ronnie Pannell, age 59 of Old Fields, WV passed away Monday afternoon, June 29, 2009 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born October 14, 1949 in Coeburn, VA, he was the son of late Hasque B. & Blanche R. (Stellard) Pannell. A brother, Larry E. Pannell and a sister, Dorothy Pannell preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife, Crystal (Sisler) Pannell whom he married on October 14, 199; two sons, Steven W. Pannell of Louisville, KY & Bobby Pannell of Bardstown, KY; a daughter, Veronica Lynn Kennedy of Bardstown, KY; a step-son, Tommy Shrock of Oakland, MD; a step-daughter, Desiree Lewis of Hutton, MD; seven brothers, Jimmy Pannell of Plant City, FL, Freddy Pannell of Falls Mills, VA, Caroll Pannell of Wise, VA, Roger Pannell of Oakland, MD, Charlie Pannell of Falls Mills, VA, John Pannell of Oakland, MD & Joe Pannell of Lake Mills, FL; a sister, Sue Garvin of Princeton, WV and five grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 4:00 PM Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with the Rev. Glenden Berg officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM Wednesday until time of services at 4:00 PM. The family will also receive friends from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM Friday, July 3, 2009 at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home, 3431 Coal Heritage Road, Bluefield, WV. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM with the Rev. George Johnston officiating and interment will follow at the Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, VA.
