Jean Ellen Zirk

Jean Ellen Wilson Zirk age 82 of Winchester Ave., Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday evening, October 29, 2009 at her residence. Born September 9, 1927 in Hardy Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late Ernest S. & Maggie (Earle) Wilson. She was a graduate of Moorefield High School and Fairmont State College. She retired from Hardy County Schools after teaching 40 years where she also taught Head Start for five summers. She was a member of the Old Fields Baptist Church. Surviving is a son, Wayne E. Zirk (wife Donna) of Dunbar, WV; numerous cousins and special friends, Nancy Taylor & Vera Shockey. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the Old Fields Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Howard officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery, Moorefield, WV. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Saturday at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St. in Moorefield. Ms. Zirk will be taken to the church 1 hour prior to services on Sunday.
