James Manual Tanner

James Manual Tanner, age 71 of Baker Street, Moorefield, WV, passed away Tuesday morning, May 8, 2012 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born March 4, 1941 in Saint Albans, VT, he was the son of the late James A. & Myrtle E. (Laroe) Tanner. He was a US Navy veteran. A son, Michael, preceded him in death. Surviving are two sons, James Tanner & Chris Tanner of Louisa, VA; two daughters, Johanna Motz of Gordonsville, VA and Jessica Tanner of Stephens City, VA; ten grandchildren and his extended family, Travis & Amanda Alt and children Skyler & Porter of Moorefield. Mr. Tanner requested no public services; private family services will be held at a later date.
