James Glenn Carr

James Glenn ?Jim? Carr, age 92 of Rig, WV, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born February 2, 1917 in Avoca, Arkansas, he was the son of the late John H. & Olive M. (Parker) Carr. He was a member of the Rig Assembly of God Church and was a Charter member of the Potomac Valley Men?s Choir. Two brothers, two sisters and a grandson preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife, Cleo E. (Lollis) Carr; two daughters, Caroll George of Rig, WV & Glenda Baker of Newark, California; and two grandsons, David W. George & Walter R. Baker. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Brad Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at the Newhouse Cemetery, Rig, WV. The family will receive friends form 5 ? 8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
