James Edward Bond

James Edward Bond, age 92 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday morning, February 11, 2006, at the Grant County Nursing Home in Petersburg, WV. Born March 10, 1913 in Cumberland, MD, he was a son of the late Edward & Margaret (Jameson) Bond. He was the retired owner/operator of Bond?s Jewelry & Mt. State Realty and was a member of the Moorefield Presbyterian Church. He was a life member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #358 of Moorefield. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia (Feller) Bond and a brother. Surviving is his wife; Eleanor (Miller) Bond, a son, James E. Bond, II of Moorefield, WV; a daughter, Pat Clemmons of Morgantown, WV; two grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and several nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 7:00 PM, Monday, February 13, 2006 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Katherine Jackson officiating. After the funeral service Mr. Bond will be cremated and inurnment will follow at a date. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until time of services at 7:00 PM on Monday at the Fraley Funeral Home.
