James Lester Ayers

James Lester Ayers, age 58 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Friday morning, March 12, 2010 at the Hampshire Memorial Hospital in Romney, WV. Born July 6, 1951 in Petersburg, WV, he was the son of the late Glenn Emory & Hattie Frances (Borror) Ayers. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church. Three brothers preceded him in death. Although he was divorced, he maintained a close friendship with his ex-wife, Kathleen Parsons. Surviving are two daughters; Sherry Harman (husband Richard) of Moorefield, WV & Julie Eckle (husband Michael) of Fisher, WV, two brothers; Emory L. Ayers (wife Vicki) of Petersburg, WV & Richard Ayers (wife Eleanor) of Fairmont, WV and four grandchildren, Matt, Katie, Cheyenne & Hailey. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, March 14, 2010 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Doyle Patch officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
