Jackson Porter Simmons

Jackson Porter Simmons infant son of Stephanie (Cooper) Simmons and Jeremy D. Simmons of Fisher, WV departed his life on April 4, 2007. In addition to his parents, Jackson is survived by his two sisters, Michelle Riggleman & Alyson Simmons at home. Also surviving is his maternal grandparents, Ruth & Steve Cooper of Dryfork, WV; his paternal grandparents, Judy Wolfe, Kathy & Darwin Simmons of Moorefield, WV; his maternal great-grandmother, Juanita Cosner of Thomas, WV; uncles Steven Cooper of Dryfork & Daniel P. Simmons of Moorefield; numerous great-aunts; great-uncles; cousins and family friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Porter Cosner, Fred & Lectie Cooper; his paternal great-grandparents, Hazel & Melvin Wolfe, Jean & Arno Simmons and Hilda Earhart. A Private Memorial Service will be held at Oak Dale Christian Church and interment will follow at the Newhouse Cemetery, Rig, WV. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Oak Dale Christian Church Building Fund, 3989 Rig Road, Rig, WV 26836 or the Newhouse Cemetery, c/o Darwin Simmons, 507 Evening Sun Drive, Moorefield, WV 26836.
