Irene Myers

Irene Elizabeth Myers, age 82 of Moorefield, WV passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2003 as a result of a motor vehicle accident near Augusta, WV. Born May 11, 1921 in Hardy County, WV she was a daughter of the late John & Amanda (Shockey) Reel. Her husband Charles E. Myers preceded her in death in March 1964. Three brothers, four sisters and a grandson also preceded her in death. Surviving is seven sons, Charles V. Myers of Rig, WV, Renick E. Myers of Landover, MD, Floyd A. Myers of Mathias, WV, Elwood E. Myers of Moorefield, WV, David A. Myers of Dorcas, WV, George P. Myers of Petersburg, WV and Thomas R. Myers of Old Fields, WV; four daughters, Louise Kidwell of Moorefield, WV, Mary B. Carr of Bowling Green, MD, Betty J. Kesner of Moorefield, WV and Becky I. Taylor of Purgitsville, WV, a sister, Martha Smith of Baker, WV, 23 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were conducted Saturday, July 5, 2003 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Brad Taylor and Rev. Harold Cullers officiating. Interment followed at the Bethel Cemetery at Old Fields, WV.
