Hester Virginia Newhouse

Hester Virginia Newhouse, age 91 of Holly Ave., Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday morning, November 17, 2007 at Reeder?s Memorial Home in Boonsboro, MD. Born August 2, 1916 in Bass, WV she was the daughter of the late Glaspy V. & Josephine (Southerly) Wolfe. She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie ?Leck? Newhouse in April 2001. A son, Leslie C. Newhouse, a daughter, Wanda Lee Newhouse, and a grandson, Jon R. Lewis and five brothers also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Bass United Methodist Church. Surviving is a daughter, Ann Byrd and husband Roger of Martinsburg, WV, a daughter-in-law, Judy Newhouse of Bronson, FL; two brothers, Ralph Wolfe & Earl Wolfe of Baltimore, MD; seven grandchildren , Lynn Newhouse of Jacksonville, FL, Michael Newhouse of Stuttgart, Germany, Carla Cassidy of Bronson, FL, Derik Blauch, Aron Byrd, Chad Byrd, Ryan Byrd all of Martinsburg, WV; ten great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Judy Vetter officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery.
