Henry "Bud" Sponheimer

Henry ?Bud? Sponheimer, age 84 of Highland Springs Road, Old Fields, WV passed away Monday, December 15, 2003 at his residence. Born August 26, 1919 in Deptford, NJ, he was a son of the late Harry & Ruth (Hunter) Sponheimer. He was a veteran of the US Army and the US Marines having served during WWII and the Korean conflict and was retired from the Merchant Marines. Surviving is a daughter, Yvonne Shugart of Ceres, CA; a sister, Lillian Powers of Micco, FL; three grandsons, Matthew Aaron Shugart, Mark Henry Shugart and Andrew Harvey Shugart; and a great-granddaughter, Raven Shugart. At ?Bud?s? request, he has been cremated and a gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2003 at the Old Fields Baptist Church Fellowship Hall from 3 ?7 PM. All friends and acquaintances are asked to bring a covered dish, come as you are, and gather for fellowship with the family in celebration of Bud?s life.
