Heath Jordan Baker

Heath Jordan Baker, age 22 of Old Fields, WV, passed away Tuesday morning, January 5, 2021 in Old Fields as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born on May 18, 1998 in Petersburg, WV he was the son of Kelly Lynn Crites (husband Shawn) Beazley of Old Fields, WV and Ricky Allen (wife Patti) Baker, Sr. of Old Fields, WV. He was preceded in death by a brother, Josh Baker, his paternal grandparents, Melvin & Juanita Baker and his close friend, Michael Dove. He was a 2017 graduate of Moorefield High School and a 2020 graduate of Triangle Tech (Welding) in Greensburg, PA.

Heath was an avid outdoorsman. If he was not turkey hunting, deer hunting or trout fishing, he was talking about hunting and fishing or watching it on television. A gamer, he enjoyed playing video games with his friends, some who lived miles away. Sports, the WVU Mountaineers were first and he was a huge Dallas Cowboy’s fan but could tell you anything about football you wanted to know. Heath was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Surviving in addition to his parents are three sisters, Kammie L. (Levi) Markwood of Old Fields, WV, Brooklyn D. Dolan of Old Fields, WV and Ashley Baker of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Ricky A. Baker, Jr. of Eddyville, KY; four stepsisters, Ciara Smith, Danielle Smith, Kerri Raikes & Alexis Beazley; maternal grandparents, Curtis & Carol Crites; a special uncle that purchased his lifetime hunting license, Richard Crites and his nieces and nephews he loved, Akira Wratchford, Reece Kesner, Jaya Kesner & Luka Markwood.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Monday, January11, 2021 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street. Graveside Services will be conducted 3:00 PM Monday, January 11, 2021 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Dan Howard officiant at the Hunters Call Cemetery, Greenhill Drive, Purgitsville, WV.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, wearing of masks, temperature checks and social distancing will be required at the funeral home at all times.
