Hazel Ruth Wolfe

Hazel Ruth Thomas Wolfe, age 93 of the E.A. Hawse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Baker, WV and formerly of Moorefield, WV, passed away Sunday morning, September 25, 2005 at the center. Born January 17, 1912 on Scott?s Ridge, Frosty Hollow in Fisher, WV, she was a daughter of the late John W. & Elizabeth F. (Evans) Thomas. She was a member of the Moorefield Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Paige Wolfe in 1995. A Son, Warren H. Wolfe, a grandson, Brian P. Wolfe, three brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons; Wayne M. Wolfe and wife Molly (Taylor) and Bruce H. Wolfe and wife Jonnie (Burdette) of Moorefield, WV; four daughters, Lola Wolfe Crider and husband Charles Williams, Jr., Elizabeth Wolfe Whitener, Armeda Wolfe Nosal and husband Jerry Snyder & Judy Wolfe all of Moorefield; a foster daughter, Hazel Dove of Moorefield; a sister, Frances D. Thomas McDonald of Moorefield; 19 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and 4 foster grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at the Moorefield Assembly of God Church, Chipley Lane, Moorefield, with Pastor Steven Schetrom officiating. Interment will follow at the Wolfe Family Cemetery, Wolfe Mountain near Bass, WV. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 7 ? 9 PM Monday at the Moorefield Assembly of God Church, Chipley Lane, Moorefield. The church will be open after 9:00 AM Tuesday.
