Hazel Moyers Barr

Hazel Moyers Barr, age 82 of Jackson Ave., Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday evening, March 3, 2005 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born June 9, 1922 in Grant Co., WV she was a daughter of the late Saulie & Ethel (Moyers) Moyers. Her husband Vance W. Barr preceded her in death in February 1989. A daughter, a son and two brothers also preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters, Donna Alexander of Moorefield, WV & Betty Dolly of Rig, WV; three stepdaughters, Marilyn Turner of Augusta, WV, frances Kissinger of Rig, WV and Paulette Triplett of Rockville, MD; a step-son, Richard Barr of Derwood, MD; two sisters, Alice Veach of Arthur, WV and Cleta Cullers of Broadway, VA; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted at 5:00 PM Sunday, March 6, 2005 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with the Rev. Lynn Rohrbaugh officiating. Mrs. Barr will be cremated after the funeral service. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until the time of service on Sunday.
