Goldie Florence Woerner

Goldie Florence Woerner, age 89 of Hutter Road, Fisher, WV, passed away Monday evening, June 13, 2005, at Hampshire Memorial?s Long Term Care Center in Romney, WV. Born November 15, 1915 in Cabins, WV, she was a daughter of the late Jasper C. & Pearlie (Berg) Heavner. She was a homemaker and a member of the Duffey Memorial United Methodist Church. Her husband, Charles M. Woerner, Sr. preceded her in death in June 1988. Also preceding her in death are two sons, Charles M. Woerner, Jr. in 1973 and Roger L. Woerner in 1999; two grandsons, Harold and Christopher; two brothers and three sisters. Surviving is a daughter, M. Louise Woerner of Fisher, WV; two brothers, Warren Heavner of Ft. Ashby, WV and Richard Heavner of Youngstown, OH; two sisters, Evelyn Mercer & Ruth Henry of Youngstown, OH; a granddaughter, Beverly of Normangee, TX; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00 AM Thursday, June 16, 2005 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV with Pastor Ed Craft and the Rev. Ted Osgood officiating. Interment will follow at the South Branch Memorial Gardens in Petersburg, WV. The family will receive friends from 6 ? 8 PM Wednesday at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield.
