Glenn Roy Sherman

Glenn Roy Sherman, age 69 of Clendenin, WV, formerly of Hardy County, passed away August 10, 2009 at his residence along with his wife Mary K. (Hinkle) Sherman. Born June 1, 1940 in Front Royal, VA, he was the son of the late Roy G. & Margaret E. (Smith) Sherman. He was a US Army veteran and most recently an Assistant Geotechnical Manager for Michael Baker, Jr. Inc. He had previously retired from the WV Division of Highways after 35 years of service. Surviving is a son, Neil G. Sherman of the United Kingdom; a daughter, Lisa K. Cantwell (husband William H. Cantwell, II) of West Melbourne, FL; a sister, Margaret A. Kline (husband Jerry Kline) of Paw Paw, WV and a grandson William H. Cantwell, III of West Melbourne, FL. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., Moorefield, WV, with the Rev. Jay Parkins officiating.
