Gladys Combs Lambert

Gladys C. Lambert, age 105 of Belington, WV, formerly of Moorefield, WV, passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 18, 2006 at the Talbott?s Personal Care Home in Belington. Born January 24, 1900 in Hardy Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late J.W.F. & Samantha (Bean) Combs. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Roland L. Park, her 2nd husband, Jennings Bryan Lambert and two sons. She was a retired school teacher from the Ft. Run School and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #102 of Moorefield. Surviving are two grandchildren, Rick Park and Genie Cleaver of Ft. Ashby, WV; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Saturday, January 21, 2006 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with the Rev. Ted Osgood officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of services on Saturday. Memorials may be directed to Mountain State Hospice, 1600 Crim Ave., Belington, WV 26250.
