Gladys Virginia Hardy

Gladys Virginia Hardy, age 86 of Frosty Hollow Rd, Fisher, WV passed away Tuesday morning, September 9, 2008 at her residence. Born July 22, 1922 in Hardy Co., WV she was the daughter of the late Oscar & Mamie (Newhouse) Barr. She was a lifelong member of the Oak Dale Christian Church. Three sons, three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Surviving is her husband of 68 years, Lyle Hardy; a son, Marvin Hardy of Fisher, WV; a brother, Robert Barr of Rig, WV; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 11, 2008 at the Fraley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lynn Rohrbaugh officiating. Interment will follow at the Newhouse Cemetery, Rig, WV. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM Thursday until time of services.
