Garrett Arthur Whetzel, Sr.

Garrett Arthur Whetzel, Sr., age 80 of South Fork Road, Moorefield, WV, passed away Tuesday morning, November 14, 2006, at his residence. Born October 17, 1926 in Hardy Co., WV, he was the son of the late Arthur & Virginia (Mongold) Whetzel. His wife of 53 years, Minnie ?Pete? (Delawder) Whetzel, preceded him in death in December 2002. Garrett was a lifelong farmer and resident of the South Fork Surviving is a son, Garrett A. Whetzel, Jr. of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Guy Whetzel of Buena Vista, VA; granddaughters, Stacy and husband Brian Henry of Moorefield, WV & Christi and husband Eddie Baldwin of Moorefield, WV and great-grandsons, Jacob, Justin and Mitchell. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, November 17, 2006 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Dan Howard officiating. Interment will follow in the Olivet Cemetery.
