Frances Holloway Williams Wilmer Wilson died at home in Naples, FL, Monday, June 4, 2007 after a wonderful life of one hundred years. She was born May 25, 1907 in Phenix, VA to Isabelle Bailey Holloway and Herbert Brooks Holloway and lived briefly in Peru, IN. Her school years were spent in Clarksburg, WV after which she moved to Moorefield, WV. She married G. Thomas Williams, II in 1930 and raised her family in Ligonier, PA and Old Fields, WV. Frances also lived in Washington, DC and Sewickley, PA. In 1999 she moved to Naples, FL where she resided at the Marbella. Frances was preceded in death by her husbands, G.T. Williams, Richard Hooker Wilmer, II and Edward Foss Wilson and her son, David Brooks Williams. She is survived by her daughter, Sally Katherine Harris of Naples, FL and her son, G. Thomas Williams, III of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Mark Calhoun Williams and Susan Holloway Benford; and her great-grandchildren, Justin Thomas Williams, Jacqueline Ann Williams, Alexander Rosenthal and Benjamin Eugene Rosenthal. She always spoke with pride her founding of a youth center in Ligonier, PA. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Sewickley, PA and she will rest at the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield, WV.
