Foster Price Zirk

Foster Price Zirk, age 80 of Spring Ave., Moorefield, WV, passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 5, 2006, at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born September 29, 1925 in Hardy Co., WV, he was the son of the late Walter & Minnie (Judy) Zirk. He was a WWII veteran of the US Navy of the Pacific Theater. His wife, Nellie (Smith) Zirk preceded him in death in January 2002. He was a member of the Denney-Moyers-Pratt Post# 9606 V.F.W. and a member of the John M. Golliday Post # 64 American Legion. Surviving is a son, Stephen ?Zeke? Zirk of Moorefield, WV; a daughter, Vickie Myers of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Alec Zirk of Moorefield, WV; two sisters, Nellie V. Zirk of Moorefield, WV & Grace Steach of Morgantown, WV and one grandson, Michael Myers of Goldsboro, NC. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, April 8, 2006 at the Fraley Funeral Home with Pastor Harold Garber officiating. Interment will follow with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the US Navy and the Moorefield Veteran?s Honor Guard at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 ? 8 PM Friday at the Fraley Funeral Home
