Floyd Seymour Baldwin

Floyd Seymour Baldwin, age 68 of Old Fields, WV, passed away Friday evening, April 21, 2006 at his residence after a long, courageous battle with colon cancer. Born November 18, 1937 in Hardy Co., WV, he was the son of Pauline V. (Eye) Baldwin of Old Fields, WV and the late Seymour R. Baldwin. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Barbara and was a member of the Old Fields Baptist Church. Floyd was known by all as having a positive, upbeat attitude. He will be in our hearts forever. Surviving is a son, George Baldwin of Imperial Beach, CA; three brothers, Glenn Baldwin and wife Judy of Purgitsville, WV, Willie Baldwin and wife Shirley of Rio, WV and James Baldwin of Old Fields, WV; three sisters, Gladys Greenwalt of Petersburg, WV, Elva Templin and husband Harvey of Middletown, PA and Debra Lyons and husband Glenn of Old Fields, WV and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, April 24, 2006 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Dan Howard officiating. Interment will follow at the Bethel Cemetery, Old Fields, WV. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Sunday at the Fraley Funeral Home. An avid fox hunter, he never missed an opportunity to spend time in the great outdoors with friends, family and beloved foxhounds, pursuing his life long passion. The family would like to thank Dr. Ingram and Beth of Winchester Medical Center for their loving care over the past few years.
