Florence Dodd Krueger

Florence Dodd Krueger, age 94 of North Main St, Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday afternoon, December 29, 2012 at the E.A. Hawse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Baker, WV. Born June 4, 1918 in Berkeley Co., WV, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Lowell Dodd and Alice Evelyn (Jacques) Dodd. Her husband, John C. ?Jack? Krueger preceded her in death in February 2005. Three brothers, Harold J. Dodd, Samuel L. Dodd, Jr. and Buster Dodd also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Moorefield Presbyterian Church a graduate of Moorefield High School Class of 1936 and a graduate of Fairmont Business School. Surviving is a son, Michael (Shirley) Krueger of St. Simons Island, GA; a daughter, Margaret (Roy) White of Madison, AL; a sister, Evelyn Virginia Hitt of Moorefield, WV and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Moorefield Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Katherine C. Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 -8 PM Tuesday at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St. Memorials may be directed to the Moorefield Presbyterian Church, P O Box 653, Moorefield, WV 26836 or to a Charity of Choice.
