Eva Lee Raines

Eva Lee Raines, age 80 of Spring Avenue, Moorefield, WV, passed away Friday evening, August 7, 2015 at Hampshire Center in Romney, WV. She was born August 22, 1934 in Moorefield, WV a daughter of the late Harry Hiner Sites and Evangeline Matilda (Snyder) Sites. She was a 1953 graduate of Moorefield High School, was the Assistant Property Manager of Lee Street Apartments for 28 years, and was homemaker who enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family, friends and neighbors. A brother, William H. Sites preceded her in death. Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Gordon Raines; two daughters, Teresa Gail Eye & husband Curtis of Moorefield, WV and Christine Elaine Nash and husband Russell of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Ashley & Dena Eye, Sean Eye and Caitlin & Adam Bowen; great-grandchildren, Weston Eye, Rowan Eye and Wyatt Bowen; a sister-in-law, Jean Sites of Moorefield, WV and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastors Jeff Anderson and Dan Sterns officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
