Eva Lucille Chaney

Eva Lucille Chaney, age 76 of Palm Beach, FL and Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday evening, January 16, 2010 at her residence in Palm Beach. Born July 11, 1933 in Grafton, WV, she was the daughter of the late John & Ada Belle (Jackson) Brown. A daughter, Adonica L. David; a brother, John Brown; and a sister, Nelly Meckling preceded her in death. Surviving is her husband of 38 years, George F. Chaney; a daughter, Eva Paulette Thorne (husband Tim) of Moorefield, WV; three sons, Douglass Harless (wife Cathy) of Louisville, KY, Jeffrey Harless (wife Dee) of Stephens City, VA and Darrell Bradley Harless (wife Cindy) of Lusby, MD; step-children, John Chaney of McDowell, VA, Mary Hare of LaPlata, MD, Ricky Chaney of Severn, MD, Debbie Watts of Odenton, MD and Sandra Davis of Severn, MD; two brothers, Dick Brown of Greencastle, PA and Robert Brown of Poolesville, MD; a sister, Jeannine Fox of Morgantown, WV; 34 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Chris Whetzel officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 ? 9 PM Friday and 11 AM until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
